This is the story of Skadi, a Norske mythological character, and her life after her father’s (Thiazi, Norske giant) death by Loki, Norske god of mischief. In this story, Skadi is a Norske giant goddess that lives in Thrymheim up high in the Kjerag mountains of western Norway which was left by her father. Skadi’s mother, unbeknownst to her, is one of Idun’s (Norske goddess who tends to the golden apples of youth) daughters who was kidnapped by Thiazi with the help of Loki. As Skadi grows older without any family, she grows cold with anger and spews her bitter cold that lasts ten months out of the year in the eternal darkness of the Scandinavian artic north.
